A Guide to the USSR Records 12.09.2021 16:49

The Author spent years of painstaking work on the preparation of the guidebook by studying and systematizing all currently available historical documents and artifacts, primarily materials from our website. The Author evaluated multiple options for presenting information and have been chosen, in my opinion, the optimal one that combines seemingly incompatible things. On the one hand, it allows you to see from a bird's eye view the whole picture of the development of recording in the USSR, starting from Centropechat and ending with the firm Melodiya; on the other hand, it contains the smallest details that allow to determine with a certain accuracy release date of a particular record (do not confuse it with the date of recording - it is determined by the matrix number).

But, probably, no one can better tell about his creation than the Author himself, so I give him the floor at this link.
