Попытался разобрать слова. Не совсем понятна только четрвёртая строчка:

I play my ?sorrow evening? from moon so bright

Переслушал несколько раз, и вот, как мне кажется, звучат некоторые строчки:

Согласен с Вашей версией, теперь тоже слышу это же самое.
Информация о солисте была взята из книги Per tu, Rio Rita, но видимо автор ошибся.

You’ve got a very good sound from this cheap little record. One of the small ones that were sold by Woolworth’s store for six (old) pence, about 3 US cents.

I spent quite a while probing different needles in order to get the best possible sound and ended up with a thick truncated conical sapphire from some old set. Also, I made transfer in stereo and used just the left channel because the right channel for some reason has more noise.
