Now I understand. I thought you meant something else.

I have two records by Dora Stroeva. The other three sides are all in French. One is her famous song 'Tu Sais' and another 'Deja' that was also recorded by George Seversky. The third one is the reverse of this record, another French title that I forget. I can get the infiormation if you are interested.

Dora Stroeva
Dora Stroeva recorded a few sides for Gramophone Co before the revolution, and after in the twenties she seems to have performed in Paris. The two recordings I have are from the same time, probably 1929, in London.

It seems that she was a lesbian icon and perfomed (even in the USA) in men's clothes.

Ух ты! Очень интересно! Я находила информацию о ней в дореволюционных журналах, но слышать не доводилось. Алексей Таскин после смерти Вяльцевой гастролировал с ней по России, причем в том самом знаменитом "вяльцевском" вагоне. Отзывы об этой певице были хорошие.
