Удивительная пластинка - на этикекте написано "Made in Estonia"!

They were recorded and produced in Latvia, Riga, all the musicians were also latvians - it was way cheaper. A. Arder recorded last songs for Bellaccord Electro in 1932-33;
Citation from P.Karmo research about Arder: "AA last pre-war records came from Rigas factory "Bellaccod Electro", all together 8 records, the first four were recorded on 1932 autumn, all the rest on 1933 spring. Recording place was Riga"
The 2061 was last with BE.
The advertisement on "uudiseleht" 23.07.1933 has already "Lehma polka" in order-list.

Thank you for the info! It’s still unclear why "Made in Estonia" note appeared on the Peter Leshenko record...

Yes, its weird. Cause the first Estonian own "official" disc-recording-machine was bought to Estonian Public Broadcasting on 1936 (I know this, because they started immediately recording village-musicians), maybe there was one or two private-discrecorders, don’t know about that.
But Artur Rinne (https://et.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artur_Rinne) described in his memories, that there were recording-sessions also in Tallinn, the machines were brought to Tallinn from Copenhagen, they recorded unto two disc at the same time - one for listening right away, the other-one for manufacturing.
But I make a little research and then let You know what I have found out, I think Heino Pedussaar (https://et.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heino_Pedusaar) have written about almost all about Estonian recordings of those times, I just check my homelibrary..

It turns out, that although they recorded really many times in Tallinn (in Kuld Lõwi), the producing and manufacturing took place in Hannover, Hayes and later in Riga. Not sure about St. Petersburg Estonian society on these times, what was really big in the beginning of 20 c. It could be, that St. Petersburg estonians used "made in estonia" sign for records, as they used it in their staff- and book-prints..
